Support Group Facilitator Training

One of the ways you can volunteer with us at PFLAG NYC is by becoming a support group facilitator.

We currently offer 13 free support groups over Zoom for different needs and populations that collectively meet over 200 times per year. This resource would not be possible without the hard work of our volunteer support group facilitators.

If you have lived experience that connects you to any of our groups (you can find more information about them here) and you’re passionate about guiding, uplifting, and making a positive impact on LGBTQ+ people and their families, we invite you to get trained as a facilitator.
