Support Groups

An LGBTQ+ youth holds roses in one hand and a homemade sign that reads, "Let queer kids be!" in the other. They are wearing a light blue PFLAG NYC tshirt while wrapped in a progress Pride flag.

PFLAG NYC offers support groups for parents, families, and friends of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer people. LGBTQ+ people are also welcome to attend to care for and strengthen their family relationships.

All PFLAG NYC meetings (except for SOGI Tweens at QCH) take place virtually via Zoom. We aim to make every meeting a safe place to share. You will get support from other attendees, and you'll find your experiences contribute to helping others. Through conversation with peers, we support each other in a continuing process of learning, acceptance, and celebration.

All PFLAG NYC support groups are offered free of charge.

Support coaching is also available for anyone who needs one-on-one support.
